Learning resources

Find below some fantastic educational tools and platforms, most of these are free. No excuses people.

EdX (https://www.edx.org) – This site is my fave, it’s incredible, there are free courses from MIT, Harvard, Berkeley etc and you can get certified by both Edx and those impressive names for an additional fee.

Udemy (www.udemy.com) – Udemy is awesome because it gives you access to a wide range of very cheap courses (C.£11.99) and the course material is generally updated for free as part of the price. Plus there’s an app as well as the browser version, the UI is nice and there are some nice features like bookmarking key parts of videos, tests to check understanding and access to notes.

Youtube (www.youtube.com) – Youtube is choc-a-bloc with free awesome value content. The only problem is finding it. I’m going to build a public list on my YT account for HNTT when i boot that up in May but until then will add some specific channels here for you in the coming weeks..

Soundcloud (www.soundcloud.com) – Soundcloud is known for being full of sick niche jams but it’s also home to quite a few free podcasts. As above will add more specific shout outs in the coming weeks..

Linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/learning/) – LinkedIn a b2b networking tool, think facebook for work. Not only is Linkedin an amazing way to hunt down new business and connect with colleagues, but it also has a whole host of free education series. Some of this stuff is absolute gold, it’s all business related and it’s mostly free.

Yes life.
